[RESOLVED] Send Records from Database via Email

Hello,
I'm using the following code to send all records from a MySql database to me via email. Unfortunately, it is only sending me the first record from my database. How do I get it to send me all the records in my database? Thanks a lot for your advice.

You aren't looping through the array, you need to use something like:

while($data = mysql_fetch_array($query)) {

then you'd have to decide how you want to handle the results, you could send an email for each entry in the logs table (wasteful ?) or concatenate them.

Thanks for your help, Blulagoon. I understand what you mean. As predicted, it is now sending me individual emails of every singe record in my database. How do I get it to send me 1 email with all records in it?

Well, I would do something like this.

1. I'd set $body outside the while loop

$body = "Here comes the latest batch of stuff";

Then within the while loop I'd put

$body .= $data['email'] . " - " . $data['timenow'] ;

This way you should be able to build up $body by concatenating each row of results, and if you format it nicely with appropriate line feeds you should be able to get the data out as you want it. Experiment by echoing out $body until you get it as you want it, rather than sending emails all over the place.
