Im trying to design a more automated Content management system for my clients (as im a freelance web designer). The task that i am trying to complete is as follows. I would like the client to be able to control his navigation menu, so they will be able to create links, change links etc. The tricky thing is that i would like them to be able to type the name for the link (e.g. photos ) and then click a browse button and be able to view the files on the SERVER, and find and click photos.php from a saved file to create the link. The reason i want to do this is to help make it more user friendly.
i hope you understand what i am trying to get at here, and any help would be appriciated.
On another note, if anyone knows a way to automate actual PAGE creation where lets say they wanted to create an entire new page of php, that they would be able to do this and all the variables etc would be placed and a new .php file created on the web server, that would be fantastic.
