Grabbing specific line from file and outputting it - regex

Hey all,
It's been a long time but I'm working on a project right now...need some help!

I will tell you what I am trying to accomplish first. I am trying to read a directory, looking for files with specific names, such as "backup.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" where the xxx's are numbers. I have this part down just fine.

Next I need to open these files and grab a specific piece of information from them. The line that needs to be pulled is not always the same, but the data I am looking for is (e.g. I am trying to pull a line that starts with "Progress:").

After this I would simply output this data to the screen (webpage) for viewing.

My issue is this: How would I go about reading each file, pulling the line that starts with "Progress:" and outputting that whole line? I tried some regex stuff but it did not work right...

This is how the code turned out (I call it beta 2 😉 )...its messy still..but it works...
