I have the date stored in db. How can I using PHP and not MySQL get the parts of the date separately, i.e.
2005-01-25 $year = '2005'; $month= '01'; $date = '25';
Sorry, it's only 7 am and I already had two cups of coffee.
:bemused:
$date = '2006-03-26'; list($year,$month,$day)=explode('-',$date);
Its 16:25 and I have a massive hangover :queasy:
list($year, $month, $date) = explode('-', '2005-01-25');
Though if you can do it from the database, it is often better to do so.
Perfect! Unfortunatelly in this case I use a db class and do not want to mess with it.
Now, Cahva, correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't there a "dry law" in Finland? I remember meeting a few guys from Finland coming down to Estonia for a drink...
Atleast last night wasnt dry 🙂 Anyways, we dont have any dry laws. Actually alcohol tax was reduced last year(if I remember right) and booze is quite cheap(versus before). Alcohol tax was reduced because finnish goverment didnt want people to buy their booze from Estonia 😃
There was a limit before that you could only bring 1 litre of strong booze and x number of beers from Estonia. The limit is now gone.
