Emailing contents of shopping cart

I have created my own shopping cart. When I have emailed information in the past I have always used a set script and emailed the contents of the form for example:

$first_name
$surname

etc...

However If I needed to email the contents of the cart how do I do this, as the email script will not know how many products are in the cart to email.

Its just a matter of setting up the cart properly. Have your items in the shopping cart accessible by a user id which would be set by a cookie, then select all the rows from the cart that have that user id. Set up a loop that will parse your result and display into an email.
