[RESOLVED] I.E. display problems

I have an operating website, and have made sure that it works with both I.E. and Mozilla. However, when running on I.E. I notice somethimes that on first run on a new computer, it displays the php code at the top of the window above my image source, and then, when I hit refresh, everything looks just fine. I have to do this on every php page, but only once, and from then on, on the same computer, it looks fine the next time I open up I.E. and go to my website. What can be causing this bug?

Ok, I had been waiting for the error to re-appear again. This error only seems to occur on the first viewing of a freshly recopied and pasted file into my web system. I am attaching a word document that I copied and pasted doing a screenshot of it. The php code shows up upon first viewing of the page by a new browser, which might compromise the webpage. Upon hitting refresh, it displays correctly. but I dont want visitors to the website to see my php code rudely displayed for them instead of the results out to the screen.

I haven't been able to replicate your error either. Is it possible that you're viewing these files off of your local filesystem when you're doing development and they're being cached in your browser?? After doing a refresh it loads the correct files off the webserver. Try uploading a "freshly recopied and pasted file" into your server. Before you open it, clear the browser cache and history. It's just a guess but you are using IE after all!

No, I am not viewing locally. I am making my changes to my php file, then uploading them, and my browser window is still open. When I browse to that freshly uploaded page through my page's navigation system, is when the php code gets displayed. I hit refresh, and it then processes it correctly.

Well if that's the case then i'd start asking your web host to look into it. You shouldn't ever see your php code displayed like that.

Are you 100% positive the page is completely finished uploading before you browse to it? Usually this type of error comes in when there's lag in the system due to different versions.
