anyone ever been involved in a major ERP transition at their company?

I have an interview this week for an unknown company at my campus for an IT position. The job posting just mentions that one of the major task will be to assist the company through a major ERP transition from an old software to a relational database. I'm actually suprised that the posting mentions "no experience is required, just a BS/BA degree in IT because extensive training will be provided." So what I would like to know is what are some good questions to ask concerning the position and the company's plan for the ERP transition?

To answer the subj line, "No."

To be presumptive and suggest some questions anyway*, how about:

1. What database platform?
2. How long has this transition been in planning?
3. What is the intended date of transition?
4. Has the project supervisor done such a transition before? The company?
5. How much experience does my supervisor have?
6. What skills do you anticipate the candidate will need that may not be taught in collegiate IT courses.
7. How stable is the client? Will we be creating a new one?
8. Is the corporate network homogenous, slightly heterogenous, very heterogenous?

   ... that's probably enough from me. I might suggest that you make a very big list of questions, and discuss with some of your classmates and profs which ones might be the best to ask.
