Uploading Large Files

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to upload files around 500 mb to my forum and when I go to upload, it goes through the motions of uploading, then after about 2 mins, it brings a page that says "Page cannot be displayed". I went to the php.ini file and made appropriate changes. Also, I changed the limit in the administration panel on the forum. Any other ideas?

it'll be the page timing out i would have thought. I'm not sure that uploading 500meg through a http web interface is a good idea. Can't you FTP it?

Can it be that I only 256mb of ram on the server? If it is timing out, how can I fix that?
