newbie needs help with forms.

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is well.

I am really new to Php and i need some help.

I am looking for perhaps, either an online application, or script or someone willing to help me for free to develop a special kind of web form.

Basically, i want the form to be able to give further options, or take options away depending on what data or option is clicked.

For example. If the first question on the from said:

who are you?
answers - A) company 😎 an individual

if the person click a) company it will then expand and make them fill in their company address, telephone number.

i hope that makes sense!

so, if anyone can shed some light onto this i would realllly appreciate it.

Well if that were the only criteria then what you could do is instead send the user to one of two pages, one for individuals or one for a company, so basically it would just use an if - else statement and proceed from there to either ind.php or company.php (the two forms).

You will need at least four pages of code, and each one is here just to get you a start and to see the logic. First the Entry form for you site or whatever.

Then the processform.php as stated in the action of the above HTML form. very small and quick it only needs one of two criteria.

else{
  header("Location:company.php");
}
 ?>

Then you need two forms that will be used in the case of either response and they could be pure HTML or PHP as below they are PHP but if you want HTML then change the filename in the headers of processform.php above.
ind.php

echo"You are an individual and blah blah blah do something else here in this script!"; 
?>

and company.php

<?php 
echo"Your company name and other blah blah blah.";
 ?>

That should get you started.
