MYSQL for vertical menu

I hope to get some help.

Instead of this menu system on the left :

we want to incorporate a MySQL DB so all product information (press releases, tech PDF's, drivers, software updates, certs) can be stored for easy updates for all the perspective product pages. Each piece of information (press releases, tech PDF's, drivers, software updates, certs) would pertain to each individual product page. For instance, if someone wanted a software driver for the product page they were on, they would be able to download it directly from that page instead of being redirected to a "generic" page of all drivers.

I would appreciate any/all feedback.
Can someone please offer any insight on how to do this and/or point me to a completed system or tutorial?

Not too difficult. Are you using PHP, APS, CF, JS or what and how dedicated are you to accomplishing this? Are you looking for direction or someone to do it?

Yep, it's doable. In this instance you'll likely wind up with several tables for each of those categories and a bunch of many to many tables to link them all together.

We are using PHP and are trying to find a working model already existing--more for how to link from thge menu than the actual DB creation.....or some direction. It is in the planning stage now and I am trying to find a step by step...if there is one out there. It will probably end up a one table with 10-15 columns for the various items--(press releases, tech PDF's, drivers, etc)
