Call to undefined function sqlite_open()

For the life of me I do not know why the code below give the above error:

$db = sqlite_open('F:/db/news.db');

Your help is very much appreciated.

I do not use sqlite but here is the prototype for it

sqlite_open ( string filename [, int mode [, string &error_message]] )

so from that only the file name is required and it would ssem to me that the file name should be one that is on your server, but I don't really know about sqlite. What your code show a Windows hard drive F:then a folder or directory named db with a file named news.db. Perhaps F:\db\news.db or then again I am not sure.

Are you sure SQLite support is enabled in your PHP installation?

Thank you all for trying to help - SQLite support is enabled. The problem was mod_rewrite which I am able to resolve.

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same problem as you had with SQLite.
Just went back to a project based on SQLite, which used to work on my previous install, and now I have this "Call to undefined function sqlite_open()" showing up.
You say it has something to do with mod_rewrite, but I don't really know about it. Would you be kind enough to explain me how you had it solved ?

I'm running PHP5 with Apache2, all the SQLite support is enabled in phpinfo().
