Permission Question

This is my issue. I setup a Novell 6.5 server running apache and php 5.0.4 with mysql.

When I browse to a simple php file like check_info.php I can see it. My problem is, I loaded two completely different helpdesk programs on it and when I browse to the install.php or the setup_server.php all I see is a completely blank page. No errors or anythiung telling me whats wrong.

Now this leads me to believe that this issue might have something to do with permissions. Could someone please help me with this. I have no idea what permissions to add and what folders to give permissions to or who to give them to.

Probably changing the folder and possibly files to chmod777, Did not any documentation come with these programs, if so check it to see about permission of folders and files.

I dont understand what you mean im working on a novell 6.5 box not linux. I guess im super confused on these darn permissions. What dang permissions do I have to give out. Who needs read/write permissions? To what files?
