How to pass Page Rank images to visitors

Hello,

I have a script named "rank.php" that display Google page rank image of "mysite".
The following code displays my page rank image correctly:

$gpr = new pageRank();
$gpr->printrank("www.mysite.com");
//display image
echo $gpr->get_pr();
?>

I would like to offer my visitors html code to copy and past on their index page (or any page), so that it display its Page Rank image by calling the "rank.php" script on my server (ex. <img src="http://www.mysite.com/rank.php>

I've been trying to replace the "www.mysite.com" string with:
<?echo $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];> that didn't work!

Also tried to create "$url" instead using:
<?php
$url = $SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] . $SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
$url = urldecode($url);
parse_str($url);
?>

That would work either, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

$gpr = new pageRank();
$gpr->printrank($page);
echo $gpr->get_pr();
?>

Then just call the link as:
<a href="www.mysite.com/rank.php?p=WHATEVER_PAGE">???</a>
Replace WHATEVER_PAGE with whatever url you want google to rank... 😉

Many Thanks Brett, but I really wanted the visitor to paste the link to the page rank button on his page, and not type the path in the browser address bar. For example the html code s/b:

This way the button displays on his page permanently and it becomes a link to my site.... Thanks again...

OKay.... but what I gave you worked, and you modified it for your needs, no harm done. It was late last night, and I had just finished working on the house, so you'll have to excuse me if I made a few minor mistakes...

Thanks Brett, let me clear things a little bit,

First, many thanks for your efforts, every minute you give to help me is truly appreciated.

Second, your function worked perfect by accessing the image using the browser.

Third, actually my modification didn't resolve anything, that was a sample technique that I saw been used by other page rank sites that offer visitors to add the page rank images via html code. And that is what I'm trying to replicate?

here is couple of the other sites that are offering the code to visitors:

I'm still can't make it work, Any feed back on solving that will be wonderful!

Your image tag doesn't use proper (x)HTML at all....

<img src="http://www.mysite.com/rank.php?p="www.whatever_URL.com" />

It should be:

<img src="http://www.mysite.com/rank.php?p=www.whatever_URL.com" />

Corrected that:

<a href="http://www.mysite.com" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.mysite.com/rank.php?p=www.yahoo.com"
border="0" width="80" height="15"/>

but still no image!

Hmm... can I see your entire code (feel free to PM me).

And in looking at the first link you gave me, they have a set of 10 images it seems. So depending upon your rank, you get forwarded to PR[0-10]image.gif

But anyway... if you give me code, I'd be happy to fiddle with it when I get the chance tomorrow evening / sunday or monday at the latest.
