Complex Query "WHERE" statement

I need help creating a query so I am turning here for guidence. I have the following table....
Table Name: CPERM
VALUES : Date, Name, Email, Address, City, State, Zip, File Name, Approved, and CorS (which means comment or story) The File Name is named by date recorded.

Now, I need to create a query based on the date recorded (which will be the file name), and the CorS field must = C and the Approved field must = Y. Could anyone give me some suggestions???

I'm not quite sure which field your referring to when you say "based on date recorded", Date or Filename, so you will have to replace date_recorded for the field you want.

Something like this should work:

SELECT * FROM cperm
WHERE date_recorded ='',
AND CorS='C',
AND Approved='Y'
