I observed that python is having more advantages (features) than php.

Why php is popular than python in the market.

This question as rather redundant, and really, it depends on what market your speaking of. Php, IMO, is more suited to web developement, while python has more strengths in system developement.

When it comes down to it, no one language is better than another. It really depends on the job at hand.

If you're designing an app primarily for the web, use PHP. If it's desktop-based, or likely to require considerable back-office integration, then use Python. IMO, I'd use .NET for the latter.

That said, I have a good Python book if you want to buy if off me! 😉
