[RESOLVED] changing from http to https

I have a page that was just http. Now the page has to be https

When I try to access the page like this

http://www.domain.com/page.php

everything works fine.

When I do this

phttps://www.domain.com/page.php

it doesnt display anything. No errors... nothing.

I am horribly sleep deprived from getting the SSL working in the first place. Now just need to fix this problem. It is the only page on the site that has to be secure.....

Please help.

Unfortunately page code is too long for post.

Try putting a normal html page in the https directory and see if that works.

Then another simple php page, to see if thats works.

If none of them work then you know its a problem with that directory.

Some pages on the site work with https and some dont. I am wondering if it is a problem with Sessions or something. Is there a change I have to make using sessions in https?

Does the .php pages work in https? do a simple page

what exactly is the page thats not showing up properly suspose to do?

It is a form to send some information to a database.

There is some session data there. I am wondering if that is causing the problems.

I did some checking... no it wont display any php on like 3 pages. using this

echo "hello";
?>

Why will some pages on the site do it and others wont...

So NO PHP pages work in that directory?

If thats right im GUESSING its not on the same server and that server hasnt got php enabled.

if anyone else has any other ideas....

Actually that is the rub.. the files are all on the same server in the same directory. But some work and some dont... it is the strangest thing I have ever seen...

OK I feel stupid... but thanks for your help. It got me looking in another direction for the problem. It had to do with a missing dll for turckloader...

Anyway problem solved.
