transfering domain names

This is a stupid question, but I have my domain registered with canaca.com. Is there a way for me to transfer that to somewhere else like godaddy? Instead of paying canaca for renewls I'll pay godaddy instead..?

Go to godaddy.com, click on "Transfer Domain" and voila!!

You'll get a series of email from GoDaddy and Canaca askign to verify information to make sure you're the owner and you really really really want to transfer your domain.
