My memory size is 3 (as in, I can remember three items on the Wal-Mart shopping list when my wife asks me to pick something up; four or more, she better write a list, let me write a list, send mail to my phone, etc.) and I don't have a screen. :p
As for my computer, I believe I'm running 512MB DDR on the workstation, with X now running at 1024X768 pixels, 85MhZ on a 17" ProView CRT. I'd still prefer to run things at the higher resolution, but I prefer the fonts to be discerible from 2+ feet away.
What I really should do is get a setup like Goldbug's, but I'm not so an*l-retentive about my desk, ergo, there's not room for 2 monitors.... 😉
