To whom it may concern,
I have been working on an online venture for about four months now, eFamz. It is a family orientated blogging and photo sharing site. Membership is free, and members have the ability to create a profile and then network with friends and family. These accounts will then be able to share photo albums and written blogs (journal entries), as well as written messages. Though the concept is not revolutionary, no major online portals combine networking, blogging, and photo sharing efficiently. Some focus on the writing, blogs and messages, as is the case of mySpace. Others focus exclusively on photos, for example Photo Bucket. eFamz aims to bridge the two fields.
Though eFamz is currently online, and has a base of members, the project is still considered to be beta, as the various features are streamlined. The interface is probably the biggest challenge, as the site must be easy enough to use for even the most basic computer users. Hopefully, eFamz will begin to grow significantly in the coming months.
Since the project’s conception, I have been working on it by myself, with only minimal help and feedback from others. Now comes the time when my skills at programming, web design, and business are being stretched. Also, the time required to make eFamz progress is more than I have on my hands. Thus I am looking for other individuals who would be committed to the successful completion of the project. More specifically, I am looking for designers proficient in HTML and PHP and people with experience in the web industry, with the insight to see what needs to be changed within eFamz.
The website does not currently earn any money, and I am not able to say with confidence that it will do so in any specific amount of time. People looking to help with the project need to so for motivations other than money, though if the site began earning profit in the future, all those involved would benefit.
If you or anyone you know might be interested in this venture, please contact me. I believe there is enormous potential within the field of interactive websites, and plenty of room for eFamz to grow in the short future. With your help, eFamz could well be the reference for online interaction for years to come.
Sincerely,
Geoffroy Bablon
