Hi All

Just a general question about implemeting SSL

I've seen tutorials about setting up web servers and configuring PHP setup to allow SSL but do I need to do anything with my code apart from use https rather than http when requesting a web page? Does the browser and server handle the rest?

I'm not hosting the application myself, and my host offers the SSL hosting as an option so I'm assuming all the configuration is done

no. SSL is simply the protocol that is used to send data between the client and the server. on the server PHP will be parsed out as normal (assuming it is a PHP enabled web server).
