I was wondering if anyone knows of or used a good Freeware application that converted an NTFS to FAT32 partition. Or for that matter, to a Linux ext3 or reiser format. Not sure which to use...
Basically, I have loads of data and docs stored on my NTFS disks, and I'd like to natively use Linux. I've read that the Linux NTFS drivers won't write to NTFS, but can read from them (as I've seen first-hand). Well, what good is a 75% empty disk if I can't write to it? And what if I want to update a document already on the NTFS disk? So you see my problem 🙂
Anyone do this before? Anyone have any pointers. I've heard of Partition Magic, but I have no will to spend $80.00 for a one time use....
Anyone?
