5/4 time is way different than Common time... 🙂

Um, neither; mid-digit only, but I don't make it a habit, nor try and do it at all.

And 5/4, being a compound time signature, is quite uncommon, although given the vast array of music in history that's available for us today, one doesn't have a lot of trouble finding a few examples. Still the ratio of music in 4/4 to that in 5/4 is very high....

And, actually, I mean to say "assymetric compound time signature". Any prime measure length > 3 would qualify, and have been the brunt of many jokes (scroll down to the first long one in this section...)
