[RESOLVED] Apache 2.2.1 w/SSL and PHP as CGI

I have used PHP w/Apache in mod version... I now have a need to add credit card service to my web site... I have never use CGI and certainly never used SSL..

I need help on writting in the CGI area and how SSL works for credit cards.

i have just downloaded and installed Apache 2.2.1 w/SSL from http://www.apachelounge.com/

Is there a reason you can't use an already set up service? Something like PayPal or CCBill or some other credit card charging service. That would be easier to setup and use.

There is no need to use CGI to get SSL support on Apache with PHP - we use it perfectly fine with Apache 2.2.0 as an Apache 2 handler.

Thanks guys,,, I do want to use paypal and my own cart program, i need a secure link thus SSL...

Mark,,,,, how do i set this up as mod ,,,, sorry for the newbi question but I have never work with SSL and tried my best to stay away from CGI...
