I've always wondered why the print_r output on php.net is formated with line breaks after each variable, whereas when I print_r everything is on one long line...
is there a way I can get my output to look like that on php.net?
I always just do this, via keyboard shortcut:
echo '<pre>'; print_r($var); echo '</pre>';
nice! the formatting was my only qualm about print_r... you'd think "they'd" do some of this stuff out of the box 🙂
what editor are u working with that u can assign that as a keyboard shortcut?
HTML-Kit

And clutter up debugging information with irrelevant formatting cruft that just has to be filtered out again if you're viewing it as anything other than rendered HTML?
🙂 fie on the rest... hehe good point
