php isn't refreshing updated code?

I recently reformatted my computer and reinstalled WAMP5 server like I had before, but now... When I load a page in the browser the first time everything is as it should be, BUT, when I make a change in the php code and refresh the page in the browser, the changes do not take effect, I have to open a new tab and reload the page to see the changes take effect. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and more importantly how to resolve this problem?

It is probably refreshing the cache with the old code. When you open a new instance of it it will see the changes.

How do I get that to stop?

Firefox 1.5.0.2 and I.E. 6, same problem in both. I turned the cache off in both, did not help. I even put all the php headers to make a page revalidate/refresh with no caching and that didn't help either. Is there something in apache that may be causing this?

Well the problem seems to have been fixed. I wish I could say what I did but I was just messing around with the apache and php config files and swaping out parts from other older config files and I didn't think I had done anything worthwhile but tried again and the pages started the recompile each time. If I ever figure out the exact reason this was happening and how it was fixed Ill make sure to post it..
