Adding date() to an image

Hey guys

I am trying to add the date in the format G:i:s j-M-Y (16:38:01 26-APR-2006) to an image

in order to make something that looks like this

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/webcam/webcam1.shtml?onair

I've been googling for an hour trying to find something but to no avail

Any ideas?

easy, make sure you have something like GD installed on your php, you can then layer text onto images.
