[REQUEST] Cart Free Shopping/Inventory List

Hi all,
I am after a shopping cart free program/script to list the products in a browsable format, categories and such, but without the add-to-cart and checkout features. The only thing I can come close to this is "anyInventory" @ http://anyinventory.sourceforge.net

I found the post on removing all references to the cart on osCommerce but that is still an excessive system. I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar system, or had built one they could direct me to, for merely showing a couple of fields.

Fields would be:
Item Name [ PICTURE ]
Availability
Price
Comments

It's rather simple to code, but I'm not so confident in PHP/mySQL yet, and it will need to have a user friendly admin page for the rather stupid clients that will use it.

There are lots of shopping carts at:

Many are free. Many of the free ones are light weight. You can remove the "Add to Cart" button and the "Checkout" button and they will do what you're looking for.

Yeah, but that's a last resort, that's honestly quite unprofessional to pass onto someone.

I did say osCommerce with all mentions of the cart removed, would be my last resort.

I agree that it's unprofessional, but that's what you asked for (re-read your original post).

You want the program/script for free - and there are tons at Hot Scripts that are free. Plus, you asked for advice and you got an answer for free. Come on, work with me here.

My apologies, I forgot to stroke your ego. Thanks. But I knew hotscripts already existed.

I was looking for something coded to the likes of anyInventory 2.0, otherwise, as I said, I had my alternatives. If anyone knows anything similar, great, otherwise, yeah. Wow. This was a deep post.
