IIS server connection failed

Hi,
whenever i try to connect to the homeserver i get a message of connection failed.
And" The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again" this error message . I have checked with the connection status it is running, i cannot resolve the problem.I am using IIS server to run a php application but unable to do it

post the code of the page you are calling
post any other info you might have

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://localhost/

The following error was encountered:

Connection Failed
The system returned:

(111) Connection refused

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

This error messages i get on the page ,before even running the code just when i try to connect the local host i get this error,also i have checked the status of IIS server it shows connected, even i had tried to reconnect it but of no use. And i am working on lan network, and on my colleagues PC the server is working,so i feel that it is not network problem can you please help me in this

have you tried disconnecting the firewall?

also try http://127.0.0.1/

did you ever connect to any page before?

iis runs php? i didn't know that 🙂
