Need Some Ideas/help

Hi, im setting up a new php site, I know the very basics but need some help with the structure of the site. What I need to know is how I would set up a site that when someone registers a page is created with all the information that they entered, similar to a member profile on a forum only I want this page to have elements in it that will be searchable. The best way I can describe the site would be a Yellow pages online, everyone that registers gets there own page, and anyone searching the site will for example, search for, item a, in place b. The search results will show all items a in the place b.

If anyone understands the above I would appreciate any help given. Thanks

look for tutorials on PHP/MYSQL development. once you learn the basics of that, you should be able to proceed with your idea.

Broadly, when a user registers you want to store the information they give you within the MySQL database. You can then retrieve this information via their user_id which needs to be a unique identifier.

Users coming into the site can then be allowed to search specified fields within the db, and you can print the information out based on their result set however you please.
