Hello;
I just moved to a new location. I got a new Internet connection that has a different IP than I had before.
Today I sent an email to a recipient. The email came back from a MAILER-DAEMON. It said "failure notice" in the subject line.
The problem is the blacklisted IP address above, 68.178.232.2, is not my IP address. It doesn't match my previous IP address, either.
They have got a project on the SourceForge net web site:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sorbs/
About my email address: A spammer got a hold of my old email address so I had to make a different one. The email address from which I sent the email is "news@mydomain.com" I can remember from past experience that some ISPs automatically flag email address that have generic names to the left of the "@" sign such as "info," "admin," and so forth. I'm not sure if the "news" name that I'm using is flagged by some ISPs.
Anyway, it specifically said that the IP address was flagged and didn't mention anything about my sending email address. Has anybody ever heard of this SORBS web site?
Thanks.
