Problem after upload

I have been working on my first site using php and mysql on my localhost and everything has been going fine.

Today i uploaded the files and created the tables in the database. I have also changed my connection variables so they match the new server etc.

Unforunatley the page doesn't display properly and gives me error messages about files that do exist.

e.g.

Warning: main(includes\randomimage.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/idl27/web/skatespots/index.php on line 36

Does anyone know or have ideas as to why this might be happening?

What OS is your host system? Have you got your directory separator slashes the right way round?

Thanks very much, changing the \'s to /'s has solved the problem.
