Missing words in rtf file

Hi

I am having some trouble producing rtf files.

I have a page that is generated by pulling data from a database. The user can then click a button to save the page as an .rtf file. This all seems to work fine except a few seemingly random words are missing. Has anyone come across this before?

have you checked the source of the RTF's? perhaps the words are there but are somehow being mangled by the meta data.
