PHP5: how to include DOMXML library while compiling

hi together,

I can't get PHP5 and DOMXML onto my linux box. I tried to compile '--with-dom' and '--with-domxml' but it does not show up in the phpinfo() and the class DomDocument cannot be used. Can anybody help?
