mail() won't send with large attachment

I'm having a problem with mailing large attachments (~20-50M😎. The attachment contains ~100,000 to ~300,000 lines. There's no size limitation with the mail server.

The function works fine when the attachment has less than 80,000 lines. Suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

wow, thats a large attachment.

Mail() and mimtypes can be tricky. I would look into Phpmailer. It is a simple to use php script that logs into the smtp server and sends mail that way.

What error message are you getting? Does PHP run out of memory?

Consider an alternative method of file transfer, as even if the outgoing mail server doesn't have a limit, the recipient's may do.

Have you looked at the MTA error logs? What do they say?
