Does anyone know of an open source alternative to http://www.phpfox.com ? its basically a system similar to myspace/bebo

For $40 bucks it doesn't look like it's a bad deal...it seems like a solid package.
I have heard alot of bad things about phpfox i cant make up my mind whether to buy the script or not has anyone else heard any good reviews about them i really do like the look of it but $300 is a lot to pay
what really do u want to do with phpfox?
well i would like to use the script for another site i have in mind....... but mainly so i can see the script set up make some mods and ad on' s 😃
