Hello,

I am looking for some sort of charting software that can generate graphs from data passed to it. Primarily looking for something open source or very cheap as this is for a non-profit.

This would be running on a linux/unix system with the primary back end being PHP.

I would greatly appreciate any pointers into the right direction.

JP Graph is very good, and offers a free licence for non-commercial use.

Thanks... I had found the ones mentioned.

I probably should have clarified... I have definitely searched and found multiple options, but was hoping to find folks that have used and tested certain ones and can vouch for their abilities. I should have been clearer.

Thanks for the replies thus... will start some testing.

I've used JP Graph extensively. Its help files are superb and give very helpful code examples.

Thanks... I have downloaded it and will start testing. I see that it mentions something about TT fonts and possible problems. Did you have to do anything special with fonts? I am on a linux/unix server.

It has limited built in fonts you can use. I run it under Windows, and any TT fonts I've got installed on the server are available to JP Graph. Have to admit I know nothing about fonts under unix.
