I got a laptop for my birthday and am trying to install Apache/PHP/MySQL on it manually. I've done this same install on 2 desktops and 1 laptop with no problem. I downloaded the latest stable releases of everything and then started the install process. Off the bat, I got this error in the dos window that pops up during the Apache install:
Installin the Apache2.2 service
The Apache2.2 service is successfully installed.
Testing http.conf....
Errors reported here must be corrected before the service can be started.
httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 67 of c:/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/WINDOWS/system32/modules/mod_actions.so into server: The specified module could not be found.
I checked my desktop where this is all installed successfully and that folder doesn't exist. It doesn't exist on my laptop either. Now, I installed all this on my desktop several months ago, so the version of Apache are probably different. This time I downloaded apache_2.2.2-win32-x86-no_ssl to install and I can't tell you what I install on my desktop, because my monitor won't come on for some reason. Maybe I need to go back to an older version, but I think I installed this same version on friend's laptop about 3 weeks ago.
Any ideas?
