Firefox Issues

On my site, the page users see when they log in appears fine in Internet Explorer, but it does not appear in Firefox. That is, when people log in (you can try user efamz and password efamz to see wat im talking about) to my site www.efamz.com, the page displays fine in Internet Explorer. However, in Firefox, all that appears is the URL of the page (www.efamz.com/edit.php).

The weird part is that the source code is there, and its exactly what it should be. It seems that Firefox sees the .php file as a JPEG image for some reason. The title it displays is "edit.php (JPEG Image)". Anyone have any idea what to do here?

Try moving the style sheet inside of the head tag (before the body tag). Your generated source code is:

beacuse, I think, the browser can't operate on the style ahead of the body loading.

I doubt its going to solve your problems, but on looking at the page source for the page couldn't help noticing its not displaying an opening <html> tag, or indeed a closing one.

Firefox can be quite fussy with things IE6 just puts down to sloppy code .......

In firefoxes web developer extension there is a way to edit the CSS in real time to help you get it right. With your site, the CSS does not show up at all. So either bluelagoon is right about the missing html tag has it confused or the placing of the styles after the body is doing. The browser does not seem to acknowledge your styles.

I just looked at it with Firefox and like Blulagoon said in the source there is no opening or closing html tags and FF don't like it.

well, problem solved!
thanks to all your helps... it seems that firefox did not like me including an external php file, but adding the <html> and <body> tags (and closing them of course) to the external file did the trick... I do feel slightly embarrased about this, seems like a stupid program to have... sloppy code indeed. thanks for the help nonetheless...

btw about firefox, is it just me or does it load pages much much slower than internet explorer? ( i cant compare to other browsers, havent tried them)

Firefox doesn't care about what you're doing with your PHP files - it only sees the results.
