problem with ftp upload

hello,
I have this ftp upload script and it connects to the server fine but it wont upload.. could someone help?? Ive tried it with passive turned on and off as well as binary and ascii.. Thanks for the help

Where do $destination_file and $source_file get assigned???

You've only initialised them in that script.

the get assigned right at the top i just took them out for security reasons

I've just tried the script out with all the variables configured including $destination_file and $source_file and it works fine for me.

Do you get any error message???

Yea i get a warning usually about the source file couldnt be opened.... I just checked the php.ini file for the web server and no ftp support is enabled im going to call our provider and have them enable it to see if that works.
