its is a good idea t ry to schedule my classes on php ?

hello there, i was wondering if its a good idea try to do a class scheduler in php like : [URL=http://www.luizcruz.com/HorarioEX.htm]luizcruz.com/HorarioEX.htm [/URL] <-- this is the visual part of what i want to do.. the idea is the user insert the code of the class its called CRN, then appears on the table with some color and thats all.
So do u think its a good idea to try with php ? or i should try javascript or another source???

No reason why not, especially if you want to store the class schedule in an SQL database.

okay i dont have any idea how to start it, but do u think i should use arrays? matrix array? or just alot of ifs on tables for color the <td>

Well, you have 7 activities listed at the bottom of the screen (I think, I'm no linguist, don't even know if it is Spanish or Portugese ....).

If you create a simple MySQL table consisting of 3 columns, activity_id, activity_name and activity_color you can always pull the correct color from the db, and if you want to change the color of a particular activity, all you need is one simple change to the db.
