From: [e-mail], HELP Please

Hi, does anyone know how to make the form message that comes to my email address contain a different From: address?

The area in our emails where it says Subject:
Date:
From:
To:

I would like the "From: area to say my own email address, not the long sever address that is automatically put in there.

Does setting a "From:" header as illustrated in Example 2 on the mail manual page work?

Still isn't working somehow but good lead. What about something like this, but this isn't working either. See anything wrong with it?

$headers .= "From: \" (".$from_address.");
mail($message, $headers);

The mail function accepts up to 5 parameters and they are entered into the mail()in this order To:, Subject:, Message:, [Additional Headers], [Additional Parameters] so your mail function should look like

$headers = 'From: [e-mail]' . "\r\n" .
   'Reply-To: [e-mail]' . "\r\n" .
   'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion();

mail('emailTo.email.net','Important registration information',$message,$header);
