[RESOLVED] Send HTML Mail(how to?)

Hello,
I'm trying to send a html email. My message headers are as follows:-

$header = "From: [e-mail]\nReply-To: [e-mail]\n";
$header .= $messageBody."\n";
$header .= "--$boundary\r\n" . 
"Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1\r\n" . 
"Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64\r\n\r\n"; 
$header .= chunk_split(base64_encode);
$header .= "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";

However, when I receive the email(in Outlook XP) here's how it looks like:-

What am I doing wrong here?

Do not mix the message body with the extra headers mail has five parameters which are To, Subject, Message, Additional Headers, Additional parameters
so your mail would look something like

mail("[e-mail]", "Php e-mail", $message,$heasers);

your headers which contain such things a text type From: Reply-to: and so on go in the $headers (additional headers) so the headers would look something like

$headers  = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n";
$headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";
$headers .= 'From: [e-mail]' . "\r\n" .
   'Reply-To: [e-mail]' . "\r\n" .
   'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion();

Also keep in mind that lines of text should not exceed 72 characters so you might want to use the wordwrap() function like

$message = wordwrap($messagebody,72,"\n<br>");

Thanks for your reply, Houdini. I implemented your suggestions but now the email is totally blank. As such, I'm showing you my full code so that it's easier for you to identify my mistakes. What am I doing wrong here?

Hello Houdini,
I managed to debug the code. In

mail("[e-mail]", "$subject", "$message", "$header", "[e-mail]");

$header is supposed to be $headers.

For some strange reason

$message = wordwrap($messagebody,72,"\n<br>");

did not work but I don't think I need it anyway.

As long as it is doing what you want, mainly send the mail then great!

Email lines should end with "\r\n", so maybe that's why your wordwrap(...) line doesn't work?
