How to code the backspace key!!!

Hi all,
I've a Go back button ,when on click i need to go to the back page. I've the below code for the above but its not right. can anyone help me plz.

Well, it has nothing to do with the backspace character (which, incidentally, is character 127), and everything to do with Javascript's history object.
