Hi
I have a php script I run from the command line as a cron job. Everytime it runs, it connects to an imap server, gets a list of emails, loops through them to see if they have any attachments and if so then save the attachments to a folder named after the host the email was sent to.
My script works fine, it creates the folders if they do not yet exist and then saves the files to them perfectly... the problem i have come accross though is that the folders and files have crazy owners + groups.
for example:
hercules:/u/autoemail# ls -l
drwxr-xr-x 2 4294967294 4294967294 4096 2006-05-30 10:53 yahoo.co.uk
the user and group is set to 4294967294 even though the script is running as root.. i would have thought this would be owned by root as files and folders created under php running throuhg apache are owned by www/nobody.
Could someone please tell me how to stop this behaviour or specify the user to create directories/files as.
thanks alot
