[RESOLVED] Count problem

Hi All,
I'm a bit stuck with a MySQL query and would be extremely grateful for some pointers please.

I have created a voting system in PHP in which visitors can vote for any of 1000 companies. I wish to create a SQL query to count the number of votes for each company and list the 20 highest and state the number of votes they received.

Please can someone give me a little guidance on how I can do this?
