How do to a script for alphabetical order and an animation??!!

hey,

I need help, I need to:

create a script that causes the values to change from their original sequence in the form to alphabetical order ten seconds after the page has loaded

now, I know how to display values that the user has selected on the previous page (page 1 ) onto page 2, I've done that

but what I'm struggling with is, I need do a script, where them values selected will change after 10 seconds into alphabetical order!!

I can do the 10 second animation but I don't know how to change the values after them 10 seconds into alphabetical order

can anyone help?

does anyone know a script that will do them both for me at the same time???

You could use Javascript or Flash but that's going to take weeks to learn and you need this urgently.

So your best bet is to put a Meta Refresh on the page that waits 10 seconds and then forwards the user to another PHP page that alphabetizes and displays the fields.

To alphabetize, put the fields into an array and use the sort command like this:

$fruits = array("lemon", "orange", "banana", "apple");
sort($fruits);

or.. if you are pulling the data from the database, you just modify the order by colum
