Help in showing array of pictures

Hi,

I'm working on this project(game), I did all the code, but I can't tell if it is what required or not, because I failed to show the images that are stored in the array...

I call the functions:

Now this is supposed to show the array output images inside a table, it shows the tables, it shows rows, but their is an X insted of images. All the images are in a folder called cards

Can you please help me finding out why it does not show any image??

I know this is not a really an answer to as to "why", I can't really investigate it any for you (was just skimming thru the site while at work, lol), but here is a couple steps you can do to narrow down wherever the issue may be. Something I do to make sure that it is really working right... where you have the <img src>, put in an echo "TEST" instead... see if it actually says the word test, if so then you know for sure that the code is actually doing that part, then you know here is something wrong with either the images or with the <img src> syntax
Then if that is the case, make a test file that just does an echo "<img src>" iun a foreach for the cards array and make sure the images actually load

I tried before using this

print_r ($allcards);
echo "<img src='cards/'.$allcards[0]>";

There are values, so the calling functions to rest the cards each time a deal is hit is working. Now in regard to the results from these two lines is that it still does not show any image. 😕

Have you tried using the URL infront of the paths you are using?

i.e.

Instead of cards/blank.jpg

use http://www.website.com/cards/blank.jpg

I tried it too it didn't work.

$showcards .= "<img src='http://www.k4mind.net/php/cards/back.gif' width='71' height='96'

But if I pasted the link in the broswer

It works. 😕
