PHP installed on Mac

Can anybody offer an opinion on the best way to install PHP locally on my Mac OSx (10.4.6).

I am currently working with a company who only have macs and I need to develop a PHP website. I want to be able to test my website locally alongside a MySQL database - what's the easiest and most efficiant way to do this???
