Loading page using PHP

I need to know if theres a way i can stripout the value of variables (take out characters) or revert them to their previous state?

what do you mean exactly by "previous state"? i assume you have a bunch of variables that change during your script's execution and you want them to be reset to their default values? you could store all of the vars as indexes in an array and then [man]extract[/man] them into globals vars, then you can [man]extract[/man] the orginal array again to reset everything. another idea is to write your own function to declare vars that creates a var and a constant of the same name. the var can change value, the contant cannot.

ok heres my dilema

if you visit the site above and click on one of the thumbnails on the left. You will see a page load with a number of white thumbnails on the bottom left.

I want to be able to click on the white thumbnails and change the image of the bag located in the middle of the iframe.

Its in a iframe, and im stuck in figuring out how i can change the image without opening a new window.

any suggestions?

I thought of using an array to store the image names and then simply replace the $pic variable as soon as the user clicks on the white thumbnail. Seems to be much harder than i anticipated.

Is there a way i can process the data and load the page in the same window?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
