Problem while sending attachments using php mail function

hello,

I am facing a problem while sending attachments using php mail function.

I am attaching word,excel,pdf,html files in the mail.But some of the receivers who want to see their email as plain text and not as html are getting these attached files as C.DTF format.

How can i handle such receivers who dont have html support for emails,through the code?

If the receiver don't have mime compatible mail client, and you're trying to send mime-encoded mails it won't work. They'll see garbled characters only. But you can include this info in the mail's textual part and give the recipient an alternative (download) path.
Always send text/html multipart messages or pure text. Pure html is not the standard.

If this is not the error, something may be wrong with the encoding/decoding?

Try htmlMimeMail class if you like.
